Gramedia Asri Media is a subsidiary of Kompas Gramedia which provides a bookstore chain called Gramedia Bookstore in several cities in Indonesia and Malaysia. The company was founded on February 2, 1970, starting from a small bookstore measuring 25m² in the West Jakarta area and until 2002, it has grown to more than 50 stores throughout Indonesia.
